Change to the Kiwi Property Board – Mark

Powell

Kiwi Property today advised that Mark Powell will resign as a director of the company

with effect from Friday, 19 May 2023.

M

r. Powell joined the Kiwi Property board in 2017 and is the founding and current Chair

of its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee, where he has overseen

the successful implementation, and delivery of the organisation’s comprehensive

sustainability strategy.

K

iwi Property Chair, Mark Ford said Mr. Powell had made a significant contribution to

the company over the past five years.

I’d like to thank Mark for his dedication and service to Kiwi Property and our

shareholders. His sharp intellect and deep property, and retail expertise have been

invaluable as we have transitioned the business into a leading creator of mixed-use

communities. Mark will be a loss to Kiwi Property, however we wish him all the best for his

future endeavours and the continued success of his governance career.”

M

r. Powell said “I strongly believe in Kiwi Property’s strategy of building and managing

town centres at key growth nodes and transport hubs. I’m confident the company has

a bright future ahead and I look forward to it continuing to deliver long-term value to

shareholders. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time as a member of the board, however

with my growing governance workload in Australia, the time is right to pass the baton to

a new Kiwi Property director.”

T

he recruitment process for Mr. Powell’s replacement will commence immediately, with

an announcement regarding the successful candidate to be made in due course.
