February 2024 Monthly traffic update

For February 2024, total passenger volumes at Auckland Airport increased by 27% compared to February 2023. International
passengers (excl. transits) increased by 32%, transit passengers were up 53% and domestic passengers increased by 20%
compared to February 2023.

Key Points:
• International passenger numbers (excl. transits) on the short-haul international routes increased by 14% compared to prior year and the long-haul
international routes increased by 59%;
• Domestic passenger numbers increased by 20% on 12% more seat capacity compared to February 2023 with load factors reaching 89%;
• Queenstown Airport international passenger numbers in February 2024 increased 5% on the year prior and domestic passengers increased 17%
on the same month last year.
