ANNOUNCEMENT BY NEW TALISMAN GOLD MINES LIMITED
(NZX: NTL, ASX: NTL)
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NTL RIGHTS ISSUE ALLOTMENT AND REMINDER ON SHORTFALL PARTICIPATION

NTL is pleased to advise that it has today made the following allotment of shares after the
successful conclusion of its recent rights issue.

The 1 for 1 rights issue raised $1.805m NZD, comprising of 85,104,277 rights taken up and
applicants opting to apply for additional rights over and above their entitlement of 15,036,921.
NTL has also made the first allotment of shares under shortfall applications received raising
$79k NZD, comprising 4,340,357 shortfall acceptances.
Two NTL Directors have confirmed that they will participate in shortfall(subject to approval by
shareholders at the ASM). Mr Tacon has applied for $150,000 and Samantha Sharif for
$20,000. These applications will be submitted and the funds held in trust subject to
shareholder approval being obtained at the ASM.
NTL anticipates being able to close applications for shortfall later this month. NTL reserves
the right to extend or modify the Shortfall Closing Date subject to applicable laws and the
Listing Rules.
In the interim NTL continues to accept applications for shortfall on the same terms as the
original rights issue offer and has already received firm interest. Enquiries can be made to
