Ventia awarded On-Demand New Developments
Module with NBN Co
Ventia is pleased to announce the award of a significant contract with NBN Co, expected to generate
approximately $150 million in revenue over the next three years. This contract, called the On-Demand
New Developments Module, comes on the back of Ventia’s recent award of another on-demand
contract with NBN Co. Together, these contracts position Ventia as a key provider to NBN Co for on-
demand services across Australia.
Under the On-Demand New Developments Module, Ventia will undertake the survey and construction
to extend nbn’s fibre network to Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs), Horizontal MDUs, Single Dwelling Units,
and Simplex sites in regions within Queensland, New South Wales & ACT, Victoria, and Tasmania.
The scope of this module involves the installation of new nbn

broadband infrastructure to various
locations, utilising technologies such as Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) and Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC).
Mark Ralston, Ventia’s Group Executive – Telecommunications, said: “Ventia has been delivering the

Work is set to commence in November 2024.
