Downer awarded new Defence professional services contract

DOWNER AWARDED NEW DEFENCE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT

Downer EDI Limited (Downer) today announced it had been awarded an Integrated Work Package (IWP)
with the Capability, Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) to support the delivery of critical projects for
the Department of Defence (Defence).

The IWP, issued under Downer’s existing Defence Major Services Provider (MSP) contract, is for an initial
term of two years, with two one-year extension options.

The agreement commences on 1 September 2025, and is valued at approximately $220 million over the full
four-year term.

Under the IWP, Downer will provide a range of professional services to support the Joint Systems Division in
CASG with the delivery of critical Defence Joint C4 Systems Branch projects.

Since 2018, Downer has supported a number of important capability programs for Defence, including:
 Land command, control, communication and computer systems
 Joint command and control systems
 Navy and Army aviation acquisition and sustainment programs
 Anzac class frigate sustainment and capability upgrades
 Hobart class destroyer sustainment
 Navy Hydrographic ships
 Space Systems Branch.

In addition, Downer also provides functional support for CASG in procurement, logistics and disposal
services.
