Request for Trading Halt


Santana Minerals Ltd (ASX: SMI) (NZX: SMI) (Santana) hereby requests that a halt be applied to the
trading of its fully paid ordinary shares with effect prior to the commencement of trading today,
Thursday, 7 August 2025.
In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1 and NZX Listing Rule 9.9.1(a), Santana:
(a) requests the trading halt for the purposes of considering and executing a proposed
placement;
(b) requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of:
(1) such time as Santana makes an announcement to the market in relation to the
capital raising; or
(2) the commencement of trading on Monday, 11 August 2025;
(c) expects that the trading halt will be ended by the announcement referred to in paragraph
(b)(1) being made to the ASX and NZX; and
(d) is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other
information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
This announcement has been approved for release by the Board of Directors.
