Booster Innovation Fund adds Wych to its investment portfolio

Booster is pleased to announce an investment of $150,000 by its Booster Innovation Fund (BIF) in Wych,

a seed stage New Zealand company delivering secure, compliant, and scalable open data solutions.

Wych’s technology platform enables financial institutions and regulated organisations to meet open

data and open banking requirements through standardised APIs, reducing complexity, cost, and security

risk.

Wych delivers accredited Consumer Data Right (CDR) capabilities in Australia and is progressing towards

compliance with the Consumer and Product Data (CPD) framework in New Zealand, including write-

access for Pay by Bank. Its recent partnership with Kiwibank highlights its ability to provide enterprise-

grade solutions that help clients unlock new customer experiences, streamline compliance, and

participate confidently in the emerging open data economy in Australasia and beyond.

Following this transaction (and issue of additional units to fund the purchase), Wych will represent 0.7%

of BIF’s investment portfolio which currently has over 35 active companies, and a net asset value of

$21.7m. This investment aligns with BIF’s commitment to supporting innovative New Zealand businesses

at the seed of their growth.

Investors can continue to purchase units in BIF on the NZX or can subscribe for units in the fund as part

of the process described in the fund’s Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) that is available at
