Annual Meeting of Shareholders: Global Microsoft Outage

Freightways Group Limited (Freightways) is aware of a global Microsoft outage which may impact
shareholders' ability to virtually access aspects of the Freightways Group Limited Annual Meeting of
Shareholders being held at 10am today.

To the extent shareholders are unable to vote or ask questions through the virtual platform these can
be submitted by email to corporateactions@computershare.co.nz. Any email votes should
accompanied by your CSN/Shareholder Number. Freightways will respond to any questions after the
meeting has closed.
