Radius Completes On-Market Share Buyback
Radius Residential Care Limited (NZX: RAD) (Radius Care) announces the
completion of its on-market share buyback programme.
On 18 December 2024, Radius Care announced its intention to commence an
on-market share buyback programme to purchase up to 2,000,000 of its
ordinary shares, having reliance on Clause 5 of the Takeovers Code (Class
Exemptions) Notice (No 2) 2001 in respect of those shareholders owning
greater than 20%.
The buyback has now completed with 1,551,429 ordinary shares being acquired
for the average price of $0.3306 cents per share. All shares acquired were
cancelled upon acquisition.
Radius Care’s largest shareholder, Kade Kings Limited (Kade Kings), an entity
associated with Brien Cree, Radius Care’s Executive Chair, has advised that it
has completed the disposal of 0.52% of its shareholding in Radius Care to
enable ongoing compliance with the above exemption granted under the
Takeovers Code. Kade Kings has further advised that it does not have any
present intention to dispose of additional shares of Radius Care beyond its
requirement to comply with the exemption granted under the Takeover Code.
Future share buyback programmes may be considered by the Board in
accordance with Radius Care’s Capital Management Framework.
