What to Look for in Director Profiles
Relevant Experience
Does the director have industry knowledge and skills relevant to the company?
Board Tenure
Ideal range is 3-9 years. Too short may lack context; too long may lack independence.
Overboarding Risk
Directors serving on 5+ boards may not have time for effective oversight.
Track Record
How have other companies performed under their board leadership?
