Steffan Crausaz is a transformative leader in healthcare with a background ranging from pharmacist to CEO. Trained as a pharmacist in the UK, he brings a unique blend of clinical experience and healthcare management expertise. Steffan spent over 14 years at PHARMAC, including over 6 years as Chief Executive, where he led the extension of PHARMAC's scope into hospital medicines, vaccines, and medical devices, overseeing a $1 billion budget. He worked to build on the organisation's evidence-based and commercially astute reputation while making it more accessible. He subsequently served as CEO of Tamaki Health Group, where he led an extensive primary healthcare network with 1,200+ employees and contractors, significantly enhancing operating profits through strategic growth and mergers & acquisitions. Steffan is currently CEO of Evaris Pharma and was appointed Independent Director of Third Age Health Services effective 1 December 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, an MSc, and an MBA.
