Genesis Energy Change in Officer
Genesis announced today that its Executive General Manager of Corporate Affairs and Transformation, Dean
Schmidt, will be leaving the Company on July 6th to take up a new role.
Mr Schmidt has held executive positions with Genesis since July 2012.
Chief Executive Marc England said: “Dean has contributed greatly to the strategic direction of Genesis Energy
over the last 6 years. Dean led government relations supporting Genesis’ transition from SOE to operating as a
listed company, and helped reposition our strategy to focus on energy management. We wish him well in his
new role,” said England.
A process will be started immediately to replace Dean. In the interim, Matthew Osbourne, who recently joined
as General Counsel and Company Secretary, will assume Executive responsibility for the team, which includes
Government and Corporate Affairs.
