Canberra Data Centres acquires data centre facility in Sydney, NSW

Infratil is pleased to announce that Canberra Data Centres (“CDC”) has acquired the Eastern Creek

data centre facility of DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) located in Western Sydney. The new Sydney

data centre facility comprises a total site area of approximately 145,000 square metres and includes

an existing operational data centre with additional capacity to extend services in the near term up to a

total of 19MW. The remainder of the site comprises vacant land which can be progressively

developed over time to support expected demand from existing and new customers.

The acquisition allows CDC to meet demand from existing customers for a data centre facility outside

Canberra and represents an extension of CDC’s existing data centre ecosystem to NSW. In this way

CDC will continue to follow its strategy of providing highly secure, reliable and flexible data centre

services to leading Government and commercial clients across broader geographies.

The transaction has been funded with a combination of debt and equity from its existing shareholders.

CDC shareholders are reviewing the appropriate medium-term capital structure given the DXC

transaction and strong organic growth levels in Canberra. Infratil is a 48% shareholder in CDC and

expects to commit up to A$50m in new equity into CDC over the next 12 months.
