Meridian Energy appoints new General Manager of HR

Meridian today announced Tania Palmer has been appointed as its new General Manager Human
Resources.
Meridian Chief Executive Neal Barclay says that Tania will bring strong people and culture leadership
from her previous roles in the energy and banking industries. "Her strength in areas of leadership
development, and health and safety will add valuable expertise and experience to the Meridian executive
team and across Meridian".
Tania is currently Chief People Officer at Contact Energy and is expected to start her role as Meridian's
General Manager Human Resources on 5 June.
