Mark Aue appointed as Chorus’ Chief Financial Officer

Chorus has today announced that Mark Aue has been appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer from
April 11.

Mr Aue has more than 20 years’ global experience, leading large teams across multiple industries, including
telecommunications, digital technology, FMCG and professional services.

“We are delighted to have secured a CFO of Mark’s calibre,” said Chorus Chief Executive JB Rousselot.

“Mark brings a wealth of industry and leadership experience, having been most recently the CEO of
2Degrees and before that the CFO of Vodafone. As we look to future opportunities, we’re well poised to
leverage Mark’s experience.”

Chorus Board Chair Mark Cross said: “I am excited to welcome Mark to Chorus. With his extensive
background and unique perspective on the needs of our retail service providers, he will be a valuable
addition to the team.”

Mr Aue says: “I am proud to be joining Chorus and working with such a talented team. Chorus has a rich

Mr Aue and his family will be based in Auckland.

Mr Rousselot thanked Executive member Andrew Carroll for taking on the role of acting CFO, on top of his
regular GM Customer & Network Operations role.

“Andy has done a fantastic job covering the CFO role. I could not have asked for more dedication and
resilience from Andy, especially over the last few weeks leading Chorus’ response to Cyclone Gabrielle
while also doing the CFO role.”

Mr Carroll will continue in his GM Customer & Network Operations role.
