Rubicon announces new Director
12 August 2019 – Rubicon’s Chairman, Dave Knott, announced the appointment of George Adams to
the Rubicon Board as an Independent Director under the NZX Listing Rules.
Mr Knott said “George is based in NZ and brings broad industry knowledge to the Board. His previous
management positions include managing director of Coca-Cola Amatil NZ and Finance Director of
British Telecom Northern Ireland. He is currently a Director of Competenz and Tegal, Deputy Chairman
of Cavalier and Chairman of Netlogix and Mix Cosmetics. In addition, George is the Chairman and a
co-founder of Apollo Foods Limited (a Hawkes Bay Lifestyle Beverage Company) and of Insightful
Mobility (a tech start up focusing on delivering market leading sales force solutions). He is a Chartered
Accountant by background, and a Chartered Member of the NZ Institute of Directors. We are pleased
to have George join the Board at this exciting time of the Company’s life, and we believe he will add
considerable value to our decision-making as we move forward.”
