Qualification and university data is extracted from NZX director biographies in AGM pre-meeting notices and annual reports. Coverage depends on the detail of each company's disclosures.
Qualificationsare normalised into categories (e.g. CA and FCA are grouped under "Chartered Accountant"). Universitiesare normalised to canonical names (e.g. "Auckland University" becomes "University of Auckland").
Board fee medians use the most recent available fee from remuneration_history. Directors without fee data are excluded from median calculations.
