Company history and failure rate analysis for NZX directors. Tracks associations with companies that entered liquidation, receivership, or were struck off the register.
Directors whose company history includes entities that entered liquidation, receivership, or were struck off. A directorship at a failed company does not imply responsibility for its failure.
Director company histories are compiled from NZX appointment records, director biographies, and career history data. A company is classified as “failed” if its Companies Office status is In Liquidation, In Receivership, or Struck Off. Failure rate is calculated as (failed companies / total directorships) × 100%. A directorship at a failed company does not indicate responsibility — many directors join boards to assist with restructuring or wind-down.
