Source: All community data is sourced from ShareTrader.co.nz, New Zealand's largest and longest-running stock market discussion forum (est. ~2000). ShareTrader has over 714,000 posts across 5,000+ threads. NZXplorer is not affiliated with ShareTrader.

Activity Score (0-100): Currently derived from publicly visible thread metadata only — reply counts, view counts, and last post dates. The score has four components:

• Sentiment Polarity (40pts max, currently 20/40): Placeholder — requires post-level text analysis to classify bull/bear sentiment.
• Volume Intensity (30pts max): Log-scale from reply count. 10 replies = 5pts, 1,000 = 15pts, 20,000+ = 30pts.
• Discussion Quality (20pts max, currently 5/20): Placeholder — requires post text to assess financial analysis content.
• Recency (10pts max): Days since last post. Under 7 days = 10pts, under 30 = 8pts, under 90 = 6pts, etc.

Volume Trend: Based on reply count thresholds — spiking (10,000+), increasing (5,000+), stable (1,000+), declining (100+), quiet (<100).

Coverage: 89 of 131 NZX-listed companies tracked. 43 companies may have threads on pages not yet indexed.

Limitations: Polarity and quality scores are placeholder values. Full sentiment analysis requires post-level text which is not yet available. Scores will improve significantly when post content is accessible.
