Each quarter we measure how many NZX-listed companies discuss a set of fixed themes in the body text of their market announcements — matched by meaning, not keywords, using our semantic index of announcement documents. Counts indicate how widely a theme appears in issuer disclosure; every figure links to the underlying announcements.
Each theme is a fixed phrase embedded with a text-embedding model and matched against our vector index of NZX announcement body text (sourced from announcement PDFs). An issuer is counted in a quarter when at least one of its announcements contains a passage whose semantic similarity to the theme phrase exceeds a fixed threshold. Matching is approximate (nearest-neighbour search), so counts are indicative of disclosure breadth rather than an exhaustive census. Counts describe what issuers said in their own announcements; they are not an assessment of any company and are based on available data according to our methodology.
